New Discoveries Reveal the Mysteries of King Tut

The results of a two-year study of the mummy of Tutankhamun have not only revealed stunning facts about the pharaoh's life and health, but changed the way several key objects in the exhibition Tutankhamun and the Golden Age of the Pharaohs can be interpreted as well. The Rock Star of Archaeology

Each day in Egypt, one member of our group would receive a unique response from the public: a gasp of recognition, heads put together to confirm that the sighting was accurate, and then the pounce. “You’re that guy from TV,” they would gasp. “May we take a picture with you?” Egyptians, Italians, Americans, Japanese, British—everyone recognized his iconic denim shirt and worn-in fedora.
