Funerary Mask of Tjuya

Gilded Funerary Mask of Tjuya

Placed on the head of her mummy for protection, this exquisite mask depicts Tjuya as a young woman. A sheet of fine linen, covering the mask at burial, has left a dark residue. Dynasty 18, reign of Amenhotep III 1390-1353 BCE
