Large Wooden Shabti of Tutankhamun

Tutankhamun’s tomb contained 413 funerary figurines of differing style, quality, and composition. Spell 6 of the Book of the Dead appears in six columns on the front of this large and exquisitely carved shabti, requesting it to perform required labor for the king when summoned. Dynasty 18, reign of Tutankhamun 1332–1322 BCE
